About our maps
How are your maps created?
Our maps are created with data from OpenStreetMap and they show the quickest paths between a point and all the towns and cities around it.
Why do you show sizes in imperial and metric? For example: 45x60cm / 18x24"
Depending on the country where we send to, the print size will vary:
- USA and Australia use inches
- EU and UK use centimeters
In most cases there are only a few millimeters difference between the metric and imperial conversions.
The reason we make this distinction is so that products are sized in the measuring systems local customers are most familiar with.
What does width and height mean in framed and matted prints?
Width and height refers inner size of the frame (i.e. the size of the print). Mounted/matted frames (with passepartout) maintain the same sizing but note that the print is scaled down to accomodate for the mat.
